Managing Partner and an English qualified solicitor, Nita Maru is a Member of The Law Society of England and Wales. She is also a full member of Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP), the worldwide professional association for practitioners dealing with family inheritance and succession planning). She holds a full legal consultancy license from the Government of Dubai Legal Affairs Department and The Rulers’ Court.

With over 20 years of experience in senior legal positions, Nita has authored numerous articles and essays on asset and wealth protection including recent articles on the new DIFC Wills and Probate Registry in ‘The National’ and ‘Gulf News’ newspapers. Her focus is on safeguarding families, children, and heirs under succession/inheritance laws in Sharia jurisdictions and helping with the administration of deceased’s’ estates. Having created a successful UAE and UK family/divorce law department, serving clients with a holistic approach to their circumstances, Nita also featured recently in the ‘Xpress’ newspaper on Divorce in the UAE. Over the years Nita has a well-established working relationship with both the Dubai and DIFC Courts. Her services are regularly recommended by consulates and embassies in the UAE. Mark Nierada is a dynamic and experienced private client and dispute resolution lawyer. He has been a member of the Law Society of England and Wales for over 30 years and is a full member of STEP. Mark frequently acts as multi-jurisdictional counsel to high net worth individuals, privately held companies, family enterprises and family offices focusing on asset protection, family and matrimonial disputes, family and business succession, exit planning (including immigration matters), legacy perpetuation, governance and trust and tax issues.

Nida Chaudhry is a Canadian qualified lawyer. She has extensive experience in family and divorce matters for both Muslim and non-Muslim expatriates, including matrimonial/ divorce under the UAE law, child custody issues, maintenance, financial settlements, and mediation. Her techniques in mediation are highly effective as she has mastered the skills of negotiating clients’ interests and carefully crafting successful mediation agreements.  Nida fully understands the complexity of family dynamics in Sharia jurisdictions and has a strong belief that the interests of children must be protected at all times. She has in depth knowledge of dealing with family/divorce matters through the local Dubai Courts and is well versed with their procedures and requirements. In addition, Nida’s practice area encompasses, Wills, administration of estates; corporate and commercial law, and real estate matters.

Farakh Ahmad is a British qualified family law solicitor and a member of the Law Society of England and Wales. He has strong private client experience over a span of 8 years and is experienced in both contentious and non-contentious areas of law, specializing in Wills, Probate, and Family and Divorce matters.

Farakh prepares wills for both Muslims and non-Muslims within the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom and has administered numerous deceased estates within the UAE. Farakh is an expert in administrating estates from the beginning until completion both with Wills and when the deceased has died intestate. Farakh has extensive knowledge in dealing with matrimonial matters, custody issues, and financial settlements.
